Windows 10 1809 Compatibility Issue
Equipment Effected: All Flora Printers that use Konica 1024i or Ricoh Gen5 Print Heads
Priority: Critical Date Published: 02/04/2019
Attn Flora Printer Owners/Operators,
American Printing Systems has found a system incompatibility issue with the Flora Controller Software and Windows 10 Version 1809(October 2018 Update). Printers using the Konica Minolta 1024i or Ricoh Gen5 Print Heads use the Controller Software. When the Windows 10 1809 update is installed printers will start to have the below issue.
We have tested this issue on both Intel and AMD based systems and both are affected. If you do not have Windows 10 1809 installed Do Not Upgrade to it. If you already have Windows 10 1809 installed as an update and it hasn’t been more than 10 days since the upgrade you can follow the steps at this link to downgrade back to your previous version of Windows.
If you are unsure what version of Windows 10 you have, follow the below steps to check.
If it has been more than 10 days since the upgrade or you purchased the computer with Windows 10 version 1809 pre installed you will have to re-install Windows using Windows 10 Version 1803 or earlier.
We have reported this issue to Flora and we are working to get this resolved as soon as possible.
Thanks,
American Printing Systems Technical
